I suppose I will also make it a thank you for being an awesome captain now that The Pornathon is finished. Team Greed didn't win, but that's only because we kept all the awesome for ourselves.

She asked for Will/Gwen, which at first seemed odd to me, then decided it was going to work in my mind. Enjoy bb!

My director didn't believe me that it's pronounced pee-dophile rather than peh-dophile in British English! (If you're confused check my last post.) Even after I told him that not one, but three people who either live in the UK or would know, told me so.

So now I have a challenge for you (that's mostly for the laughs since it HONESTLY doesn't matter that much.)

Anyone who can find me a clip (audio or video) wherein a native British English speaker says 'paedophile', gets a mini ficlet of their choice from me. (I'm going to die aren't I?) I'd prefer an actual link so I can use it as evidence if need be. I'll preface and say I know the most about Merlin, Torchwood, and Doctor Who insofar as fandoms go. I could also give Supernatural a shot since I'm nearing the end of season 2 right now. I suggest choosing either Torchwood or Merlin though.

ETA: Preferably in context, not a dictionary "hear it spoken" audio clip. ;)

As an additional note, my friend told me I'm probably on the government watch list for asking about paedophiles on the internet. He's probably right.

Okay guys, so I've been appointed as stage manager for this British play called The Lying Kind, and it's pretty hilarious listening to these total Americans try to understand endless amounts of subtle (and not so subtle *cough*) British humor. However, as the case may be, there's some weird slang none of us can work out and thus I am calling on the help of anyone who is in the know!

Playing Lollies - I get that a lolly is a lollypop/sucker/etc. and could also be 'money' in older slang. But is there another meaning to the full term? Google is unhelpful.

Nonners - I had a British faculty member tell me he thinks it might be short for nancy boy, but he isn't sure. The grumpy butch women in the play calls all the blokes 'nonners' and it sounds vaguely familiar to me. Problem is, I can't really place it. Personally I think it might be a form of nonce which they use earlier because there's a woman chasing creepy paedos.

Bonus question: Paedophile is, I assume, the British spelling (rather than pedophile.) But is the word pronounced PEE-do-phile as though it rhymes with bee. Or is it still pedophile like pedestrian? I'm having an argument with my director since I swear I've heard it one way and he thinks no one says it that way.

For extra laughs, the butch women is part of a group called Parents Against Paedo Scum and it says PAPS on her shirt. XD  This play is extremely inappropriate. She likes to grab men's crotches to make them tell her information she wants to know.

Warning: If you're a Twilight fan, I may suggest you not read this unless you're willing to laugh at how seriously some people take the series.

The Washington Post compared Twilight and Hamlet. I wish I was joking. This morning my friend mentioned this article on the Washington Post website, and I absolutely HAD to go find it. Once I did, I wasn't sure whether to laugh until I cried, or run screaming in terror.

Probably the funniest excerpt is as follows:

Item Two: If you have noticed me being a little more absent lately, it's because I am now
at Pratt Institute of Art in Brooklyn, NY. (Not even kidding, I live for the at Pratt.) I'm living
in the dorms here here until the end of July for a college-level art program. <3 For which
reason, I have photos! The campus is big and green with old brick buildings and is a
giant sculpture garden in and of itself. We have the beaten up freshmen dorms of
course, but my roommate is lovely and awesome and they aren't actually all that bad.

Sorry about my image-formatting. I don't have the patience to fix it right now. The
images WILL NOT move up. Just scroll down I guess. =/

This is Joseph/Jacob. I can't decide on his name! I've been trying to choose for ages.
In any case, he's one of my characters and is the P.A. to a mob boss named Sawyer,
who both does and does not fit the classic mob boss steriotype. They are friends
and eventual lovers. (Sounds like Merlin doesn't it? Oddly, this was created before I
saw Merlin.) Sawyer does most of the fighting and violent stuff, but this time
Joseph(Jacob?) gets to be a hero.

Done 100% without reference, so it's not so much my realistic style as my personal
style.

Can you tell I have a suit!fetish yet?

So I had a dream about cooking breakfast (eggs) with Captain Jack and Ianto this morning. Not even kidding. Also, I was Colin Morgan. It was pretty awesome.

As promised to morcalivan , here is a were-goat!Merlin manip for what I believe
started with a short crackfic. (Correct me if I'm wrong?) It's a bit wonky, but since this
has been hit VERY hard with a crack stick and I need to do a whole bunch of other
stuff tonight, here goes.

There is a version with ram's horns. However, given the general flaily nature of the
fic, I felt they were too cool looking. xD Also they were very Tim the Enchanter...
with nasty. sharp. teeth.

I told cor_leonis_1961 that I drew some pencil/graphite portraits of Colin and Bradley a while back, and she demanded they be shown. >_>;; I should preface and say they were respectively only the second and third photo-realistic grahite portraits I'd EVER done, so there is (lots of) room for improvement. I like Bradley's more than Colin's, and dur, I did Colin's first so I guess I improved?

I won't be posting these in any coms because they aren't Merlin/Arthur and I don't want to post art in a BraColi com.

I need to post some of my art that didn't turn out poorly don't I? Oh well, that's what DeviantART is for.
